Buffet Crampon professional C clarinet RC Prestige
The RC Prestige clarinet combines the nobility of African blackwood (Dalbergia Melanoxylon) with precision mechanics. Every detail has been thought of: countersinking of holes, reinforcement of tenons, and cold-forged keys. Assembled by our luthiers, it is a musical work of art.
Reworked in 2018
The mechanics are prepared and finished with great precision: internal milling of the holes according to the specifications specific to Buffet Crampon know-how. The tenons of the bodies are crimped, that is to say protected by metal rings, in order to limit the risk of splits. Nickel silver keys (an alloy of copper, zinc and nickel) are cold-forged, copper-plated then silver-plated. The mechanics are carefully assembled and adjusted by expert technicians.
